Using Lemisol
A simple approach to external care.
Read the directions on your bottle before you begin. Lemisol Plus and Soft are for external use only.
Moisten
Wet the external area with water before applying the wash.
Lather
Apply the wash and work into a lather, following your bottle’s directions. Do not use internally.
Rinse
Rinse thoroughly with water. Stop using the product if it causes irritation.
A wash is optional.
The vagina cleans itself. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends plain warm water for cleaning the vulva and advises against douching. A feminine wash is a personal preference; it is not necessary for everyone.

When a product is not the answer
Persistent itching, pain, unusual discharge or a new strong odor calls for advice from a healthcare professional. Do not use a wash to try to treat an infection or mask symptoms.
Keep the bottle information
Store the product in its original labeled bottle and keep it out of children’s reach. Check the ingredients and warnings each time you open a new bottle because packaging and formulas can change.
